Civic Theatre

Thank you for your interest in renting the San Diego Civic Theatre, San Diego's premier performing arts venue with 3000 seats.

The Theatre is available for rental for cultural, entertainment, educational, civic, corporate and other special events and activities based on available dates, rates and rules and regulations.

Rental Packet

The following materials are provided to assist you in answering questions about renting the Civic Theatre. In addition, someone on our programming team will be happy to assist you and answer your questions.

To confirm a potential booking, the following is required:

1. ​ A license agreement must be fully executed,
2. ​License fees and expense deposits received, and
3. ​Required insurance coverage in place and certificates received by San Diego Theatres.
