San Diego Theatres and Ticketmaster.com are the only official, trusted ticket sales sites for events at the Balboa Theatre and San Diego Civic Theatre. Purchases from a third-party reseller increase your risk that the ticket will not be valid.

  • Tickets can be purchased 24 hours a day on this website or Ticketmaster.com.
  • Find the event you want to attend on this website. You will be directed to purchase on Ticketmaster.com.
  • Ticketmaster is the only authorized seller of individual tickets for events at the San Diego Civic Theatre and Balboa Theatre. Tickets purchased on any third-party or resale website cannot be guaranteed for authenticity and may increase the risk that the tickets are counterfeit and not valid for entry to the event.

Ticket Office (Event Days Only)

  • The venue Ticket Office is open for in-person sales on event days only.
    • For afternoon performances, the venue ticket office is open 2 hours before the event starts.
    • For evening performances, the ticket office opens three hours before the event starts. (For example, if there is an 8:00 PM performance at the San Diego Civic Theatre, the Civic Theatre Ticket Office will open at 5:00 PM).
  • We recommend visiting the ticket office early to avoid increased wait times.
  • All ticket purchases are CASHLESS.

  • Tickets cannot be replaced if lost, stolen, or destroyed.
  • The ticket is a revocable license and may be revoked upon refunding the price stated on the ticket. Additionally, the ticket may be revoked without a refund for failure to comply with posted terms and for violating the venue's code of conduct.
  • Purchasing from or reselling tickets through unauthorized sources may invalidate the ticket. The venue will only assist the original ticket purchaser with potential issues with this ticket, including but not limited to potential refunds for canceled or rescheduled events and duplicate transactions.
  • Ticket holder agrees not to photograph, video, or record, nor transmit any description, account, picture, or reproduction of the event unless otherwise authorized. Noncompliance may result in license revocation without refund, as well as the confiscation and deletion of any image or recording.
  • Ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks in attending the event, whether occurring before, during, or after the event, and releases venue and its agents from all related claims. Ticket holder grants permission to utilize the holder’s image or likeness in connection with any photograph, video, or other recording means for transmission, broadcast, or promotional use.
  • Latecomers may be delayed in accessing seating until intermission or breaks in the event, and may be seated in alternate seat locations.
  • Refunds or exchanges are at the sole discretion of San Diego Theatres. Events, artists, dates & times are subject to change.
