Emily Hassig, CFRE

Emily Hassig is the Chief Advancement Officer at The Bishop’s School in La Jolla, California. She has extensive experience in capital and comprehensive campaign fundraising, major and principal gift work, strategic planning, construction management, board and donor relations and planned giving.

A native of San Diego, Emily is a Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE) and is Lean Six Sigma certified. Prior to joining The Bishop’s School, she served as Chief Development Officer at Promises2Kids, raising money for San Diego foster youth, and oversaw major fundraising initiatives at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas and both Scripps Mercy Hospital locations.

Emily earned her BA from the University of California, Santa Barbara and was named one of the Top 40 Business Leaders Under 40 in San Diego at the age of 32. She resides in Mission Hills with her husband and young daughter.
