David Hsiao

David Hsiao has proudly called San Diego home since 1979. A graduate of UC San Diego with degrees in both Computer Science and Psychology, David has provided strategic leadership in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, and Business Intelligence across the construction and real estate sectors since 1995. For the past 19 years, he has served as Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at BioMed Realty (a Blackstone company), that delivers real estate solutions to the life sciences, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical industries.

David is also actively involved in the broader technology and nonprofit communities, serving as a member of the CIO Executive Council, on the Board of Directors at the San Diego Blood Bank, and as a Governing Body member for California’s Technology Summit.
